Engage Update - No More Portfolio (requires attention)

As of 1/3/2018, the community tab, portfolio, and groups link on Engage will be discontinued.  It is imperative that any files currently stored in your Engage Portfolio be migrated to an external source as access will not be available after 1/3/2018.     

 *I must clarify that the portfolio feature in the MEd Community page will remain the same.

A few things to note:

  • Not everyone was utilizing the Engage Portfolio, so you may not have any files saved in this area.
  • If you did save files in your Engage Portfolio, please take a few minutes to export these before 1/3/2018. Instructions can be found here:  https://engagesupport.s3.amazonaws.com/current/studentfaculty.portfolio.copying_mahara_portfolio_to_engage_portfolio.html
  • Access to the new Engage Portfolio will be available through updated Engage Program Community groups. Community group creation is still underway and you will be notified once you have been enrolled and have access to the new Engage Portfolio.

As more users adopt mobile as their preferred modality of accessing content in Engage, the new theme aims to provide an improved mobile experience. A simplified user interface reduces the amount of scrolling on mobile devices, providing fewer distractions and allowing users to focus on course content.
