The intent of field education is to connect the theoretical and conceptual contribution of the classroom with the practical world of the practice setting. Attending a field education webinar is the best way to fully understand the field education process, including tips on how to find and secure a successful internship. We recommend attending a webinar while you are in your 2nd or 3rd course in the MSW program and then again when you are a month away from starting field to refresh your memory on the expectations. However, you can attend as many webinars as you need!
The webinar will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM Central Standard Time. If you are unable to attend the event, but you would like to watch a recorded version of the webinar, simply register and I will send a recorded version of the webinar the following day.
